Founding Recruiter

We are a well-funded, venture-backed fintech startup building modern banking and cash management infrastructure for businesses that sell physical goods. Our platform helps brands optimize working capital, automate treasury workflows, and turn financial operations into a competitive advantage. Backed by top-tier investors and serving hundreds of customers generating over $1B in annual gross merchant volume, we are scaling quickly and building the foundational team that will define our next phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to join as the first in-house recruiter and directly shape how we attract, evaluate, and hire world-class talent. The Role: We're hiring a Founding Recruiter to own the full recruiting function end-to-end. You will partner directly with founders and leadership to build the talent engine that fuels our growth. This role will focus primarily on technical recruiting (engineering & product) while also flexing into GTM and operations hiring as needed. You will not be inheriting a recruiting team — you will be building it.

• 4+ years of experience in fast-paced, high-growth recruiting environments • Strong technical recruiting background (engineering & product focus) • Experience as an early recruiting hire scaling organizations (0→1 or early-stage build) • Proven ability to source and close passive candidates at top-tier tech companies or startups • Ability to flex into GTM and operations hiring when needed • Experience with modern recruiting tools (e.g., Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter) • Bachelor's degree or higher • Builder mentality — you like creating systems, not inheriting them • High standards for talent and strong calibration instincts • Relationship-focused communicator who can influence senior stakeholders
